We provide outdoor, clean, comfortable kennels with insulated dog houses if you’d like to bring your favorite hunting dog. We also have access to 24 hour veterinary care in case of emergencies. We welcome your hunting “buddy”, however, dogs are not permitted in either lodge at any time.

Our accommodations are non-smoking; however, we offer several beautiful outdoor areas where smoking is permitted.

In addition to the Hunt Package, the Private Suite offers:

All prices are subject to a 6% state sales tax. Hunting licenses are available at the lodge.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking. In the event of natural disaster or inclement weather we will put your deposit towards a future date.

We offer handicap accessible accommodations and we will gladly customize a hunt to meet anyone’s needs.

 

What to bring on your Pheasant Hunt:

* These items can be purchased in our Pro Shop.
  • Waterproof hunting clothing (jacket, pants, boots, gloves, poncho, etc.)

  • Clothing that can be easily layered. Fall temperatures can range from 30-85 degrees.

  • If hunting during Nov-Mar, bring a heavy winter coat, gloves and stocking cap.

  • Well-worn hunting boots and several pairs of warm socks. You will do plenty of daily walking.

  • * Protective eyewear

  • * Blaze orange clothing (vest, shooting shirt, cap, etc.)

  • * Hunting vest or shell belt

  • * Camouflage clothing if you plan on waterfowl hunting.

  • * Thermal shirts, long underwear or a hooded sweatshirt

  • * Slippers or something similar. Outside shoes cannot be worn in either lodge.

  • Casual clothing including a bathing suit for our hot tub

  • Camera, batteries and film

If you bring your gun-

  • A hard-side, locking gun case. 12 or 20 gauge shotgun is recommended. We provide one box of shells/hunter daily. After that you can purchase shells at our Pro Shop.

If you bring your dog- (please let us know in advance)

  • Food, dishes, protective vest or any other supplies your dog may require

Your South Dakota Hunting License can be obtained at the lodge. Please be sure to bring your State-Issued ID Card or Drivers’ License.
