Just thought I'd drop you an e-mail and tell you again what a great time my friends and I had at R&R Pheasant Hunting. Everything was outstanding, the bird hunting, the guides and dogs, food and lodging. It was a real pleasure meeting you and your family and everyone including the entire staff made us feel welcome. While the bird hunting was fast and furious at times, our guide let us hunt at our own pace and there was plenty of time to relax with friends, play some cards, tell hunting stories and just enjoy ourselves in the beautiful lodge. I'm sure we'll be back sometime in the future. Thanks again for one of the best hunts of my life.

We hunted with r-r pheasant hunting in the fall of 2004. Actually I made two hunting trips with close clients. We were picked up at the door of our Citation jet. From that time forward, we only had to do the actual hunting, since Sal and his colleagues took care of every detail of the trip. When I am entertaining clients, that is precisely what I want, therefore, enabling me the ability to spend quality time with my clients. I like the organizational aspect as well as the superior shooting. We were off the hunt in 2 1/2 hours each day, limited out. The true test is, are we going back this year. You bet, at least 2 or 3 times with clients.

Any first time visitor to a new destination is afflicted, I think, with a certain amount of apprehension. Will it be as good as it looks on television? After my first visit to South Dakota and R&R Pheasant Hunting I can tell you that it is! Sal Roseland is a wonderful host who goes out of his way to see that his guests are accommodated in every way. The lodging is rustic and comfortable and the hunting is as good as an Easterner could imagine. Suffice it to say that I’ll go back to R&R, and I'll be taking friends with me. Thanks again Sal!

Sal and his family put on an AWESOME hunt. We had my little guy, 8 years old and my father, 75 years old. All were able to walk easily and harvest birds. I have never had more opportunities to pull a trigger at more roosters in one day in my life! A+ operation...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO ALL!

The first few years we decided to hunt in South Dakota we did so hunting public land for the most part, we got into birds, but had to spend an absorbent amount of time and effort finding the land and praying the birds would hold until we arrived. As an avid hunter of many species I both understand and appreciate the effort and work you put into a days hunt, but when you make the journey and spend the money you would like to get something out of it, which we did once we started hunting with Sal. Sal runs a first class operation, from top to bottom. I have hunted many parts of South Dakota, with varying success, but have never been disappointed with my time at the Roseland Ranch. The birds are always plentiful, no matter if you are trudging through snow or walking on a sunny 70 degree day. I am always amazed at the number of roosters Sal and his men put us on. The facilities are easily the best I've been around, but every time I visit it seems Sal is adding on or making improvements on an already top notch set up. When you look at all of these plusses, then add in the Roseland family hospitality, you will get a hunt second to none with Sal!
