For many people, hunting season is a cherished time of year. It conjures memories of boyhood, learning to hunt with our fathers. However, hunting in the wild can be hit or miss. There are, frankly, a lot of variables. This can range from the experience level of the members of the party, to the bird dogs, to the location of the hunt, to the lodgings. When you choose the R&R Pheasant Hunting Lodge as your destination, however, these variables disappear.
We offer both preserve pheasant hunting and wild pheasant hunting, as well as hunting several other types of game. These range from dove to grouse to coyotes to deer. Each of these types of game has its own season, which you can find by clicking here. Preserve pheasant hunting, however, extends from September all the way through March, and wild pheasant runs from mid-October through early January.
R&R Pheasant Hunting has all the resources to help you get the most out of your hunt, and all in extreme comfort. If you’re flying in to South Dakota, we can pick you up at the airport. Once you arrive, we take care of every detail, allowing you to focus on the reason that you’re here: enjoying yourself. Our lodge provides four-star accommodations and the perfect environment for you to unwind after a long day in the field.
Each of our flexible packages also includes all of the equipment you’ll need, trained and experienced field dogs, and a knowledgeable guide who will usher you through our land and can provide expert instruction for those who require or request it. All in all, R&R Pheasant Hunting can help you get the most out of the South Dakota pheasant season.
